Bunny Spa Day will be happening on Saturday May 7th from 3-6 pm at the Bunny Bungalow. Bring your buns and come by to get their nails trimmed and fur groomed! We will also have plants available for a donation, just in time for Mother’s Day! And of course, you can meet our many adoptable bunnies!
We would also greatly appreciate any donations of large heavy-duty trash bags, paper towels, or disposable gloves.
Short answer- put the bunny back in its nest!
If you find a nest of wild baby bunnies, leave it be! The mother only visits the nest at dawn and dusk to avoid attracting the attention of predators. Please do not kidnap wild baby bunnies!
If any of the bunnies are injured or bleeding, take them to a wildlife rehabilitator! EARS is NOT a licensed wildlife rehabilitation center and CANNOT TAKE WILD BUNNIES! If you are from the Erie area, call Skye’s Spirit Wildlife Rehabilitation Center at 814-786-9677.

The EARS website is looking for contributors! It has become increasingly difficult to update the website regularly, so we are looking for people to help with updates.
We would especially like to restart the Bunny of the Week feature (click here for an example), and would love to find someone interested in taking it over. It requires a weekly visit to the shelter (although this can be very flexible) to get to know some of the bunnies and take pictures. Then, you just type up their story and a description of their personality. This feature has helped many potential adopters get to know some of our shelter’s residents and has led to many adoptions in the past.
If you have your own ideas for a regular feature or post, please let us know as well! If you love to write and would like to be a website contributor, send an email to Stephanie at email@example.com.
